At our AGM this year thechanges we made last year were reviewed. They are listed below. The only change giving a little difficulty to members was the 1pm start time. This has subsequently been changed to a 2pm start time. It was voted on and approved at the AGM by a show of hands. It was unanimous.

The club ran at a loss again this year and is increasingly worrying. The committee is at a loss to know how to stop this without your help. If anyone has an idea of how to increase our membership please email or phone Christine. Her details are on your membership card.
Our demonstrators coming year are excellent. Some known to us some new.
I hope you will all come and support the club and enjoy the coming year's entertainment and fabulous flowers.

SCOTTISH ASSOCIATION OF FLOWER ARRANGEMENT SOCIETIES
WOULD YOU LIKE TO LEARN BASIC FLOWER ARRANGING SKILLS?
Introductory course for NAFAS disciplines. The course will consist of:
Principles and Elements of Design.
Line, Symmetrical, Parallel, Landscape, All Foliage and Interpretive Designs.
Identifying, Conditioning and Use of Plant Material.
The course will be subsidized by SAFAS and a certificate will be presented on completion of the course.
The course will extend for 4/5 days 10 am - 3.30 pm over a 13 week period and anyone interested should contact:

If you think you would like to do this, please contact Linda as an indication of numbers of people interested in the course is necessary to know if it is viable. It is as really enjoyable thing to do so if you love flowers, give it a try!

Two of our members passed their Nafas Area Judges Test in June this year.
Well done to Pamela Galloway and Christine Macalpine. There were seven trainees this year led by Lilias Hoskins, a National Judge and they all passed.
Well done to everyone.
